Teeth Whitening (Bleaching)

Teeth whitening (bleaching) is the process of removing discolorations that occur in the enamel and dentin layers for various reasons through the oxygenation method using biocompatible gels containing hydrogen peroxide or carbamide peroxide and special light sources. It is an aesthetic dentistry procedure that allows the tooth’s natural shade to be lightened by several shades without damaging the tooth tissue.

The procedure can be performed either as "In-Office" (Office Bleaching), applied by the dentist in a clinical setting, or as "At-Home" (Home Bleaching), carried out at home with custom-made trays prepared under the dentist’s guidance.
