Pediatric dentistry is the branch of dentistry that examines children's oral and dental health, as well as the development of primary and young permanent teeth, from infancy through adolescence (0-13 years), and provides preventive and therapeutic care.

Helping children develop proper oral hygiene habits, reducing the risk of cavities through preventive dentistry practices, and preventing the development of fear of the dentist (dental phobia) are among the main aims of pediatric dentistry.

• In the treatment of baby bottle tooth decay (early childhood caries) and nutrition-related lesions,

• In the management of childhood oral/dental trauma and emergencies such as falls and impacts.
